About the speciality

About the speciality

Explosive reactions can come from anxiety or defiance. I work with parents of children with PDA and behavioural challenges using SPACE and structured, evidence-based strategies. Much of the early work is about changing the parent's side of the loop, since nagging and repeated prompts usually make defiance worse, not better. I help you get clear on what your child receives unconditionally, what they earn, and exactly how they earn it, and when the behaviour is anxiety-driven, coaching parents through SPACE can shift it without forcing the child into sessions. The goal is calmer routines, fewer battles, and stronger relationships at home.
